Turning Point is a ministry of faith; no one is turned away due to race, financial status or religious beliefs. It is our belief that those with addictions cannot overcome them without a commitment to a Christian life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"imghead2\">\u00a0<\/span>The Foundation Stones of The Turning Point are the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"style1\">\n<li>Forgiveness<\/li>\n<li>Salvation<\/li>\n<li>Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Discipline<\/li>\n<li>Purpose<\/li>\n<li>Satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Confidence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Christian Home for Men<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"style1\">God provided a temporary home for men in need of guidance, most often because of alcohol or drug abuse.<br \/>\nThe men are closely supervised by the home&#8217;s full time Director. The program is designed to encourage a renewed mind according to the Bible, and consists of Bible classes, daily devotions, tape sessions, group discussion, Christian counseling, a work program and life skills class.<br \/>\nEach man is assigned a mentor to help him through his time in the program and to offer guidance and support. Most men repent of past behavior, forgive those who have hurt them (including themselves), learn self-discipline and improve their self esteem.
